Greetings from Malla and Sari!

Kaixo to everyone, we are Malla and Sari, the two Finnish girls that are working on Ametsen Ekaitza event. Both of us have studied in Team Academy and now we want to experience how our ways of working can be used in new environments.

We have worked with the Ametsen Ekaitza –team now for 1,5 months and many things have happened since we arrived to The Basque Country. After arriving here the first thing to do was to meet up with all the people involved in the project. People from Mondragon University, Manahmana and GAZE. In the first meetings we defined what kind of event we want to build up together. We realized that in order to make a successful event for students about entrepreneurship, we need to meet students and ask them what they really want.

For getting this information we have arranged work shops in Ikastolas. Also a group of Eteo students have given us ideas and worked a lot with Ametsen Ekaitza. The Ikastolas we already arranged work shops are: El Regato, Kirikiño, Lauro and Txantxiku. Next Monday 17^th of November we will go to two Ikastolas: Laudio and Pasaia. Altogether we have met until now about 200 students and their teachers. We have had a lot of fun in the workshops, telling a little bit about Finland and Team Academy, talking with the students about their passions and asking what kind of event they would like Ametsen Ekaitza to be. For us it has been a great learning experience to visit Ikastolas and meet the students there.

Yesterday we visited Tabakalera and made some final decisions concerning the program of the event. We also had some interesting ideas about how to decorate the place…but we will not reveal them yet
